A/W 2012- Jewelry

Here I have explored A/W 2012 Jewelry, it seems that designers have either gone wild with jewelry or not done it at all, the designers that have have gone for a very feminine look.
Dolce & Gabbana are really standing out to me, I love the head pieces and feel I could really experiment when customising them for my shoot, I also love the Ralph Lauren back piece, I think the silver intricate jewels and Gothic look would look amazing in my shoot.

A/W 2012/ Regal

A lot of jewels, pearls and intricate jewelry. designers seemed to have looked into history when looking for inspiration as I see a lot of Tudor influences such as ruffs, embellishment and extravagant jewelry.

A/W 2012/ Ice

Looking at 2012 A/W collections I feel there is a lot of white, some structural and some quite feminine, having my shoot in mind some of the designers I have shown here are given me the Ice feel, very cold and mythical.

The Tudors/ Mood Board

When looking at A/W 2012 Dolce & Gabbana I thought it all looked very regal and some what like Anne Boleyn, so I have looked into the regal look and researched Anne Boleyn and this mood board is what i found.

My overall look of my shoot is quite different to this feel, however i felt I could take elements from this research to inform my shoot, such as the way in which I source my materials to make my jewelry. I also thought that this is where my jigsaw piece could come into it. I was thinking in the shots I could  place the beautiful pieces of jewelry within the oyster and then have some sort of jigsaw with these Tudor colours coming through to make the story idea look quite regal and rich!

A/W 2012 Details

A/W 2012- Alexander Wang

A/W 2012- Anna sui

A/W 2012 Bottega Veneta

A/W 2012- Dolce & Gabbana

A/W 2012- Jason Wu

A/W 2012- Ralph Lauren

A/W 2012- Rodarte

When thinking about my story idea and the look I want to go for, these designers stood out to me, the intricate jewellery and the idea of royalty. The D&G jewelry reminds me of Anne Boleyn one of Henry VIII wife's, I am going to research into her and her history to give me a more informed idea.
I love the Alexander Wang piece but I think it is taking my in a different direction to the rest of the designers.

Under the Sea/ Mood Board

This is my third mood board to inspire my styling for the oyster when shooting it, thinking of mood, colour and plants that I could use to inform my oyster fashion story.

I feel that all my mood boards up to now have been successful and have really inspired me to research further and find more ideas to inform my narrative. I feel it is all really coming together now and I am starting to feel a mood and a story.

Blue Ice/ Mood Board

This is my second mood board where i have found inspriation from Ice and Icy tones.
